coLAB studio has won the Tempe Sustainability & Resilience Achievement of the Year, 2026 “a testament to leadership and innovation in advancing sustainability, promoting environmental responsibility, and strengthening the resilience of the Tempe community.”

Several other Tempeans were heralded for other community enhancing actions.

Maria Salenger accepted the award. The award frames were all hand-painted by one of the Tempe’s favorite artists, Kyllan Maney. Kyllan and Matthew Salenger have been friends for over 30 years.
